\"handbill-gunfree-armed\"<\/a>Well what a contrast between two states. \u00a0Shaneen Allen won’t be going to prison<\/a> for crossing into New Jersey and an 11 year old girl show some\u00a0real<\/strong><\/em> gun sense<\/a> in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

In this first case, I’m sorry, but the idea that this is going to be presented as justice or a victory is insane. \u00a0Justice wasn’t served here. \u00a0Shaneen\u00a0still<\/em>\u00a0has an arrest and has spent too much time wrongly jailed. \u00a0Shaneen was still<\/em> separated from her kids for far too long. \u00a0Shaneen still<\/em> spent far to much money defending herself. \u00a0Shaneen still<\/em> lost her job because of this fiasco. \u00a0Shaneen still<\/em> hasn’t gotten justice, it just became politically expedient for the case to disappear.<\/p>\n

If Christie wasn’t concerned that this could be\u00a0another<\/em> problem in his bid for the White House, she’d be going to trial. \u00a0Fortunately for the rest of us, he is\u00a0already<\/em> too toxic to be seriously considered unless you’re a talking head trying to make news.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, this girl in Oklahoma appears to have saved her mom’s life, her life and the lives of her siblings. \u00a0This is a good reason that if you’re going to have a gun in the house, everyone better know how to use it safely. \u00a0Teach everyone to fear the gun, not be afraid of the gun. \u00a0And I mean “fear” in the old sense of “profound respect.” \u00a0I’m wondering when the Anti-gunners are going to shut up about there never being real defensive gun uses. \u00a0This is yet another of many cases of guns saving lives.<\/p>\n

That gun and the girl’s good head certainly saved more lives than that restraining order did. \u00a0What strikes me most about this case, is that it’s almost a play-by-play of that failed ad by Mom’s Demand Action a few months ago. \u00a0You know? \u00a0The one that helped convince the ladies on The View that having a gun might be a good idea? \u00a0Sometimes, I think Shannon Watts is the best friend the Gun Rights Movement could have.<\/p>\n
