Honestly? \u00a0I don’t know if Brat\u00a0will be able to win this. \u00a0It\u00a0does<\/strong> take a lot to beat a majority incumbent. \u00a0But the following story should be a serious wake-up call for the Republican establishment and leadership.<\/p>\n

Fitzpatrick makes a critical mistake in his article, though. \u00a0He blames Cantor’s problems just on immigration and that is dead wrong. \u00a0 \u00a0Immigration is only the latest straw – some say, perhaps, the last straw – of insults to American conservatism people by the Republican party.<\/p>\n

Failing to stop or even put up a\u00a0real<\/em> fight on government spending, reining in the EPA, energy policy, gutting the military, the growing police state, education… All of these – and more – are creating a rising tide of anger at the GOP.<\/p>\n

Honestly, I expected to win few if any of these midterm elections. \u00a0Cantor, Boehner, Graham and the others? \u00a0These people shouldn’t be needing to spend or fight for their seats in their party primary and yet they are . \u00a0In some cases even being forced into run-off elections.<\/p>\n

They may survive this election cycle, but only a fool would call it a victory. \u00a0Unless the establishment makes some fundamental changes this is, at best, a long defeat. \u00a0Yet, when you consider that the establishment\u00a0calls it “victory” when their “compromises” merely control the speed at which the Progressive agenda is implemented and does\u00a0nothing<\/em> to stop it, maybe they\u00a0are<\/em><\/strong> fools.<\/p>\n

A warning to the GOP establishment. \u00a0You may survive this election cycle, but make no mistake; it is not a victory. \u00a0Your power is waning. \u00a0We are no longer judging you by your words. \u00a0We are judging you by your actions. \u00a0America is waking up and it is more angry than you can imagine and this is true of both Republican and Democrat.<\/p>\n

Few Americans are Progressive in the sense that Obama and his followers are. \u00a0Progressives\u00a0think that we just do not understand their message. \u00a0The truth is that we\u00a0do<\/em> understand it. \u00a0We reject it. \u00a0<\/strong>You have an rare opportunity to deal the Progressive\u00a0worldview a massive blow. \u00a0Both the voters and history will judge you. \u00a0Will you be heroes or footnotes?<\/p>\n
