This isn’t actually a new story for those who follow 2nd Amendment issues, but the rest of you need to be aware of this as well. \u00a0It goes well beyond the impossible task of making 3D plans disappear from the web.<\/p>\n

This is a joint attack on both the 1st and 2nd Amendments. \u00a0What this story isn’t telling you is that these regulation changes don’t just prohibit 3D printer plans. \u00a0They are worded generically enough that they can be used to shut down online gun reviews, gun blogs, manufacturers sites, access to manuals or repair documents online, just as examples.<\/p>\n

Go too far, give too much info on a gun? \u00a0The State Department<\/em> – this isn’t even the ATF –\u00a0will be able to shut you down. \u00a0The Obama administration can’t win a ban on AR-15’s or even the ammo? \u00a0Fine. \u00a0Pull discussions, specs, sales info, etc. offline in the name of “national security.”<\/p>\n

People\u00a0really<\/em> need to go and post comment on this before the deadline. \u00a0I don’t know how much good it will do. \u00a0The State Department – i.e. John Kerry – is not the ATF, but we do need to make the voice of the people heard. \u00a0And please,\u00a0please<\/em> share this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
