People are missing the reason this is so incredibly important. Progressivism and the fundamental American culture are antithetical and completely incompatible. They understand this. The also understand the importance of history in maintaining a culture. They have seen the push-back to their efforts and are responding.
For European style Progressivism to have a hope in this country, Americans have to be separated from their history. This isn’t a move that will provide results now, but let there be a generation or two under this kind of mentality and there will be a real chance of success. This is a long game they are playing and they are not interested in compromise.
